Close to a pleasant surprise
It was a really bad idea to travel from Orly on a Sunday.
I don't have any real complaints about RAM, but if you can avoid it . . .
I didn't like RAM all that much but I was still pretty satisfied with it.
The check-in, after a huge line, was pretty good. I asked politely for a place in the front of the plane, which they gave me (second row in economy class).
Boarding was a little ragged and was a delayed by over an hour (it was RAM).
The plane was basically clean and pretty new (leather seats).
The flight crew was nice (for once), but my neighbors had some problems also.
The in-flight meal was appalling (again, it was RAM), but I brought some things to snack on and I shared them with the other rows. On a flight that lasts 2 hours and 50 minutes, it's good to bring your own provisions.
The landing was very good. The pilot was OK when it came to providing in-flight information and clear announcements.
In short, I left the plane surprised: it was less expensive than an EasyJet or Transavia flight. That's not to say that I'll necessarily be traveling with RAM again, but it certainly deserves a positive review.
