Service much improved
they have really been spending time training up their staff.
Really great personal service with a smile in first class.
The down side is that the previous management at AF chose a redundant seat/bed in both business and First.
New beds are coming but not before 2016 on the A380.
Small touches are still missing in First. An option is not given to have meals served as and when required. Rather cabin crews serve it when convenient to them. The cockpit crew still often think they are piloting a freight plane. Announcements are kept to a minimum sometimes even non existent. There remains shades of a state airline, even though the company had been privatised. This is most apparent amongst senior captains, who when they actually dain to visit the cabin are stony faced and aloof! They are supposed to greet first class passengers but rarely do! I think they have an inflated view of their skills and importance. It should not be forgotten that Air France's safety record does not rank amongst the best and that many of the incidents were a result of pilot error.
