Note: This review is about an experience that happened more than 3 years ago.

At 10:00 am they announced that the copilot was ill and they were trying to find a replacement. That was the first time I'd heard that particularly outlandish excuse!

The flight was then put back till 6:00 pm before finally being operated by a different airline … at 8:00 pm. I also ended up travelling in charter economy class even though I'd purchased a business class ticket :-(

What deplorable service. I advise everyone not to use this airline. From listening to the airport staff, it seems that this is a regular occurrence with La Compagnie, which is in the habit of cancelling its flights!

Merci beaucoup pour votre avis.
Par contre il est tout à fait possible qu'un membre du personnel tombe malade avant un vol et que ça le retarde.
Cependant il est vrai que la compagnie est censée avoir des pilotes, hôtesses et stewards en "astreinte" afin d'assurer un remplacement rapidement (généralement moins de deux heures).

Vous avez finalement voyagé sur quel compagnie ?

Il m'est arrivé une histoire semblable au départ de Tahiti Faaa avec AF. Je ne sais plus le nombre d'heures de retard, cependant la compagnie a attendu que le pilote aille mieux pour qu'on puisse décoller. J'ai passé la nuit sur le parking de l'aéroport à errer comme un gros malheureux.... Les lois polynésiennes n'étant pas les mêmes qu'en Europe, je n'ai eu droit à aucun dédommagement. C'est un pur scandale.
