Check-in was at CDG’s terminal 1, counter 5. Two floors below all other airlines. I don’t like this terminal. This is only a subjective review. I checked my bags in this mess. There’s luggage everywhere, a horrible noise, everyone was angry.
I headed to this airline’s lounge. It was very small and uninteresting and, most importantly, very poor in terms of what it offered.
Boarding was on time. And the first big surprise was the seat. The plane is made up of three cabins: economy, premium, and business.
It turned out that the seat is very old, corresponding to a classic seat of the old airlines.
I took my seat.
There was no individual screen.
There was only one central screen that showed us the map.
Takeoff was on time.
Second surprise: no video programming… A seven-hour flight with no entertainment.
The meal was served. At least it was tasty.
No choice of wine or even mineral water. No ice.
Third surprise: cockroaches. Yes, you have read it well: cockroaches running all over the carpet. Unbelievable.
I have never seen anything like this. I wonder if it wasn’t just a dream!
