This flight confirms that this airline is reliable.
The little airport in Bouaké is the height of simplicity; you board the plane from the tarmac and get to say a little hello to the pilot as you pass beneath the plane :-)
Despite the weather being lousy and ominous, the very new Dash used for the flight hardly made any abrupt movements at all during the descent on the way into Abidjan. The pilot (who seemed to be French to me) zigzagged between the black clouds throughout this 30-minute jaunt of a flight, which made it more comfortable.
A snack (banana fritters) and drink were served with a smile. I was pleased to see a plane that was three quarters full.
If you're an Ivorian, a foreigner or a foreigner living in Ivory Coast, fly with Air Côte d'ivoire! It's a thousand times safer flying from place to place in the country than using the roads!
At 41000 CFA francs for a one-way flight, it's definitely worth it.
