Review of Coco d'ajaccio about the flight Volotea between Bordeaux and Ajaccio on 11/05/2013 in Economy

Never again if I can help it! I had high expectations after flying with Air France’s new low-cost Hop, which is really good, having almost no difference in service from regular Air France: on site printing of the boarding pass, inflight beverages, and an 80 € price for an Ajaccio-Toulouse flight… But it’s not at all the same with VOLOTEA! I’m still angry! It had already cost me 170 € for a Bordeaux-Ajaccio flight, with one checked luggage, so a 20 € fee to be paid online. This is really far from the advertised 29 €!

And, when I arrived at the airport, they wanted another 20 €, and then 30 €, because I hadn’t printed my boarding pass beforehand! In the digital age or with the competition, you have electronic tickets that you can print on site, or you can simply show your phone or ID! I was outraged, what a disgrace! The poor agents lowered their eyes and ended up shamefully admitting that this was VOLOTOA’s strategy to make more money… In the end, the flight cost me 200 €, the same as it would have cost me for an Ajaccio-Paris round-trip with Air France. And lastly, we were crammed in like cattle, standing on a corner of the airport for 45 minutes while we waited to board the plane! SHAME!
