Departure on time. Fifteen minute delay at arrival because the control tower made us circle three times over Nantes before authorising landing.
Comfortable plane, more so than with the airline's low cost competitors: larger seats, significant amount of space between the rows and for the legs, seat could be reclined without bothering the passenger behind us.
Nice cabin crew, speaking perfect French. You have to pay for things onboard but prices are reasonable. Anti-stress music at take-off and landing.
However, nobody to meet us at Nantes, which is completely unacceptable! There was nobody there when we got off the plane, except a baggage handler who constantly shouted after us that we weren't following the path traced on the ground (128 passengers on a path narrower than a cycle path!). Finally, thirty minutes after landing, and at the same time as the luggage arrived, a member of staff turned up, without saying a word. Then, because I was parked in an underground car park right at the other end, I had to make my way through an airport that was already deserted at just 10:50 pm, with all the shops closed and not one security guard around: frightening. When I complained about it to the only living soul I found, the car park attendant, he told me that I wasn't the first to complain. Volotea gets treated like it's nothing, even though for medium-haul flights it's significantly better than other low-cost airlines.
