Hello. This is a review of a flight of less than an hour operated by Air Austral on July 18, 2015 between the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (Plaisance, Mauritius) and the Roland-Garros Airport (Saint-Denis, Réunion). This is the return flight, the departure flight review is available here: http://fr.whattheflight.com/compagnies-a...
We took off about a dozen minutes early which allowed us to land five minutes before the scheduled time. The ATR 72's seats reclined and were large enough to sit in comfortably. The only entertainment offered on board was the airline's in-flight magazine. The flight was in the evening, and the lights were turned off, but it was impossible for me to read the magazine since my reading lamp didn't work. I told the chief cabin attendant about my problem. They gave us a hot towel and a packet of onion and garlic pretzels, which we did not appreciate. For drinks, we had the choice between fruit juice and water.
As with the departure flight, I have to say that that this airline trip as a contest price so I can't judge it based on the quality/price ratio.
