Worse than just negative because the plane was cancelled.
As flight UA 55 of the 24th December 2013 was cancelled, we spent Christmas Eve at Roissy in a dingy hotel, hoping to fly the following morning.
There was another flight due to leave at 10:30 am on the 25th December.
They made us wait again, till 2:00 pm, before telling us that this second flight had been cancelled and we would have to spend a second night at the hotel.
We decided to go home because our trip to New York was only for a four-night stay and we only had two of those nights left!
No excuses were offered by the airline, nor any information about how to go about claiming the money for the tickets, hotel, prepaid reservations in NYC, etc.
There were about 200 passengers in the same situation as us. Those who agreed to wait for a third flight left on the 26th, and with yet another one hour delay. So that's three days lost!
The way we were treated is scandalous!
