When I booked my flight, directly on TAP’s website, I had already had a bad experience with this airline two months earlier.
Due to a departure from Marseille that was delayed for almost one hour, I missed my connection in Lisbon to go to Dakar, and there is only one flight a day. TAP took responsibility and put me in a hotel, but my biggest problem was that I also had a connection in Dakar for the ship that would take me to Casamance. On this respect, TAP made me understand that I would have to fend for myself. So I had to repurchase the tickets (I forgot to mention that we were three people).

To go back to my latest experience, I had anticipated a possible delay and so had arranged a leeway of half a day in Lisbon. There weren't any problems on the outward trip, but some days before the return, an e-mail from TAP informed me that the time of my flight from Lisbon to Marseille had been changed. The connection would be on the morning with only one hour between the flights. Of course, the departure from Dakar was one hour late (3 a.m. instead of 2 a.m.) and the connection was missed…. So: we retrieved our luggage and changed to another airline, checking in with Iberia, on whose flight they didn't even give us a drink or a snack. Then, there was another stopover in Madrid with a six-hour wait. That’s too long a wait! On another trip, there was also a delay with my bags—I arrived on a Saturday and didn't have my bags until the following Wednesday. I think my experiences with TAP will stop there!

A Berns: ce vol Marseille/Lisbonne, ou retour, avec la Tap ne nous a laissé que des mauvais souvenirs! On a a peu près tout connu ( retards dingues, personnel au sol plus que désagréable...mais jamais de geste commercial...). Nous possédons une maison proche de Lisbonne, et malgré la distance Porto-Lisbonne nous étions arrivés à prendre Ryanair sur Porto ( au moins être à l'heure! ). Pour nous, l’excellente nouvelle c'est l'ouverture d'une ligne Ryanair Marseille/Lisbonne... Bye bye la TAP! ( sélection naturelle...)
