I cannot recommend enough opting for "business class" on a 13-hour flight, since comfort is optimum and it's not as tiring, as much as Singapore Airlines offers excellent in-flight service on an A 380.
Very large leather seats, full of well thought-out places for storage; the seat turned into a "bed" which allowed you to nap between the two meals that were served on board (dinner and breakfast).
The flight crew was numerous, smiling and attentive to the passengers' needs.
The dishes they served were high in quality, especially the tasty, extensive breakfast. The plane was quiet and clean.
While the Star Alliance Lounge in Roissy really seemed "mediocre" (comfort, space, quality of the buffet), the one in SINGAPORE/CHANGI was luxurious, spacious and pleasant, with excellent choices at the buffet: comprehensive and very good (great coffee).
The difference between the Paris and Singapore airports was obvious: Changi (terminal 3 for this airline) is tremendous. It's modern, spacious and calm and the formalities were quick. This was not the case in Paris (Roissy 1), which retains a certain style but where you now feel cramped. Note that Roissy 2 is no longer is the best in comfort.
