Short flight, short description.
Same gate and same plane, an A321 named Arne Viking, than our previous flight from Athens. We got a small lunch during the one hour connection in Copenhagen Airport, where you can find plenty of shops, bars, restaurants to make the time pass. The only real hub in Scandinavia, I feel.
Boarding was quick and when we got back to the gate it was already closing. The plane took off right on time. Short one-hour trip to Stockholm. The plane was 90% full. Mostly business people and a sub-14 basketball team from Russia that made the plane a bit less calm, in a nice way. Coffee and tea were served several times. Food was also available for a fee (between 3 and 10€) but since we had just had lunch, we discarded it. As entertainment, the top screens were playing the route we were taking and I had downloaded some newspaper for free on the SAS app (you can download various magazines and newspapers from 22h prior to take off). Messages from the captain about the route and the connections at Stockholm. We landed after passing through what looked like 5000 meters of clouds, in a grey and rainy Stockholm, but on time and with a very nice landing. The luggage took less than 15 min to get delivered (we just had time to walk to the luggage delivery and wait for a few minutes before). Took the great Arlanda Express that connects the Airport to the center in 20min.
A short trip, same level as a Lufthansa short haul, that has nothing much more to say. If the timing of the flight is right, there is no reason to not take SAS. But I would not change my plans to be able to board on one of their planes.
