We travel abroad on a long-haul flight every year. This was the first time we'd travelled with this airline.
We were originally three hours before check-in. However, the hostess told us that there were no seats next to each other remaining so we had to spend the flight apart: so off to good start then!
Next we noticed that the TVs weren't in the seat headrests but attached to the ceiling every eight feet: great, no chance of watching the programme you want. Headphones had to be paid for, and additionally, the films offered were Spongebob Squarepants and Léonard! Cool, it just gets better and better. The seats were old and very cramped. The meal was truly pathetic for a 12-hour flight, and the drinks, except the water, had to be paid for. The second meal was just a plain and ordinary little triangle sandwich! So that really was the icing on the cake! This voyage felt like it would never end. Both the outbound and return flights were simply hell!
They should definitely be banned.
