The service would be equivalent to that of British Airways, if it wasn't for the cabin crew. There was a hostess in her sixties (ok, everyone needs to work) who was authoritarian and surly, and there was a steward of the same age who, it has to be said, seemed to have his head completely in the clouds and was frankly unpleasant. So that's who we had accompanying us for the eleven hours.
The food was decent, and the entertainment was just as good as the best that the top airlines are able to offer. There were some inconveniences at the end, at the London stopover: unpleasant British airport staff, and some complications. The only pleasant ones were the English ones of Pakistani or Indian origin.
