Despite the horrible temperature in Toronto, which had delayed or canceled most flights to Montreal, everything went well.
For a short flight of about an hour, we had a very pleasant experience worthy of a major international airline.
The seats were leather with 32in of legroom, which meant that even a rather tall person could stretch out their legs without being too cramped.
They offered complimentary food and drinks on the flight, including white/red wine, beer, juice and coffee plus different snacks.
The plane seemed very well maintained and clean. There weren't the constant vibrations that I've experience on other Q400s (United). We even went through several zones of turbulence without too much trouble.
It was a short-haul flight on a small, regional airline, which meant there were no televisions on board. However, they did have some newspapers and the use of tablets was allowed ''gate to gate''.
Takeoff and landing were smooth despite bad temperatures at both ends.
The safety instructions on board were in 2 languages (English and French). On the other hand, the announcements at the airport (Toronto) were only in English. That could be a problem for French speakers who don't also speak English, in case of any changes or new information concerning a flight.
