Austrian Airlines flies 4 times per week between Vienna and Yerevan from end of October to end of May, then in June 5 times per week and from end of June every night.
This is the point : the flight lasts only 3 hours and 15 minutes, but the departure in Vienna is at 22.20... And you arrive at 01.35, actually 03.35 Yerevan time... This is quite tiring, especially for children, sick and old people.
The crew is friendly. As the flight is short, there is no special entertainment. There is a meal, but it is a small quantity and not so tasty. I would advise to have dinner at the airport, if you have the time, or to take sandwiches. I was accompanying a group and one of them could not find his luggage in Yerevan. As the flight Vienna-Yerevan was a connecting flight, we knew afterwards that the luggage had stayed in Vienna. It took nearly one week to come. This is, I think, the negative point of this trip. But generally, if you would like to fly to Armenia, I would recommend Austrian Airlines, as you are not obliged to fly via Moscow.
