The flight was ready to depart 15 minutes early, then having sat on the tarmac for some time, the captain announced that ground crew had forgotten to load half of the suitcases and he had turned the engines off while this happened. The flight eventually then left late via Thessaloniki to refuel. It wasn't until over four hours after boarding at 4.30 that the cabin crew finally reached us at 8.45pm, we were in Row 11! Their attitude was rude and abrupt, and although I appreciate the language barrier, there is no excuse for not smiling once. Paying via debit card, they informed bluntly the amount in polish currency and say it's 'like' this much in pounds. No details on exchange rate, the debit slip was in another currency so there was no way of determining exactly what was being charged. When I politely asked they simply said 'that is what you pay'. We did not see the cabin crew again during the flight until they walked past glaring at everybody and stating 'rubbish'. Outbound journey was exactly the same. They need to work on their attitude and customer service, there is no excuse for outright rudeness.
