Delayed on the tarmac for about 45 minutes and not a peep from the flight deck. Cabin crew announcements were almost inaudible and cabin crew seemed disinterested and did not have an air of authority about them.
I was unfortunate enough to be seated in front of a man who loudly proclaimed his desire to be served alcohol almost from the minute he sat down. He then subjected those around him to three and a half hours of sexist (any young woman standing to go the the lavatory was commented on) racist (Germans came in for a particular bashing) and homophobic views. Everyone nearby was acutely embarrassed and just waiting for something to kick off.
Now its not Enter Airs fault he booked with them but cabin crew did diddly squat other than keep him topped up with cider. At the end of the flight when I told the stewardesses i was unhappy with how they had dealt with this situation they looked shocked that anything untoward had taken place
I can't believe rival airlines would have allowed this to continue. There was a sigh of relief when he pushed his way off the flight first, and did I mention the phonecall on the taxiway? Not a word said.
These cabin crew did nothing to instill a sense of safety in me and for the first time for a long time I felt uneasy in the air.
The only reason i chose this flight was the timings suited me and to be honest it was keenly priced but next time i'll fly with someone else if I can.
