At the end of the summer I tends to try and get away cheaply to somewhere not too far away and with a bit of sun. Corfu was the choice and the travel company were using an airline Id never heard of - Enter, "Enter air".
OK - this isn't first class on Emirates, or Upper on Virgin, but I also wasn't paying the same price, and that has to be taken into consideration.
What I got was a good efficient airline, with decent enough legroom that got me from A-B on time and without mishap.
The food onboard (which you pay for) was nothing to make a note of, but then again most people I know either buy before at the airport or wait until they're at their destination. I recommend the same. Saves money, tastes good if bought from Pret and is ready whenever you want it.
Service maybe could do with a smile on occasion and a couple of the stewards had accents - but I lie in South London so that's nothing new, but was I going to let that take me away from the well deserved break I needed? No - it reminded me that I'd probably been a bit miserable at work and with my work colleagues over the last couple of months too, so time to let it go and enjoy.
On arrival, getting off the plane was fine and I was happy to be beginning my holiday, knowing that I'd spent a lot less than many others, giving me more time for some beers and decent Greek dinners.
As with any low-cost/charter airlines, Enter air doesn't offer you the world, but gets you to the places you want to go.
Take a book, some headphones, a sarnie and drink, and enjoy a comfortable, clean and efficient plane at a great price that took me to my holiday destination on time, arriving on time with no fuss.
