A delay of more than 6 hours with no explanation

We left Lyon for Lanzarote in the Canary Islands after an almost six-hour delay without any explanation given. We were left waiting in the boarding lounge without any information and no one came to talk with us. We arrived in Lanzarote after midnight. Our Sunday was lost.

This is a company to avoid: unfriendly crew, not even a smile, didn't speak French and didn't provide any help. Everything cost extra and was very expensive despite the 6-hour delay. You couldn't even get a glass of water— you had to pay 2 euros for a bottle! By contrast, the staff didn't hesitate to come around with carts of perfume, cigarettes and other things.

For the return, we got up at 4:30 am but as it happens there was no delay then, when we would have preferred one!

We lost 2 days of our trip. Even if the TO considers the first day as travel, other flights departed earlier and returned later on Sunday, so those passengers could enjoy two more days of vacation.

Voilà une fois de plus, j'ai la confirmation que Air Méditerranée c'est du grand n'importe quoi, la CEE a instauré des lois qui protègent les droits des passagers. Il faut écrire à la DGAC vous trouverez l'adresse sur internet très facilement...
