After my flight from Zurich landed, I went through security and headed to the terminal of my flight for Mombasa. To get from arrivals to Terminal D, which is where domestic flights leave from, you have to leave the airport, cross the road, then go left and walk for around 650 ft.
I went through security and then waited. Thinking that there would be some stores there, I'd gone to the terminal right away but there was nothing. I waited 3 hours, and it felt long.
Finally the boarding time arrived. It went pretty quickly and we went across the tarmac to the plane, an E-190. Takeoff was off on time.
When we arrived at cruising altitude, the flight crew served drinks and a muffin (not bad for a one-hour flight).
The seat was comfortable for a short flight.
The flight crew was friendly and did its job well.
For the entertainment, there was a TV on the seat but it didn't work on such a short flight. However, there was an in-flight magazine available.
The only negative thing that I noticed: there wasn't a lot of room for carry on luggage unless you were near the front.
The landing in Mombasa was on time, and then my vacation began :D
