We made our Lima-Madrid return flight followed by a Madrid-Geneva flight the next day.
The flight was full, as it usually is. We had a renovated Airbus with Iberia's new entertainment program, which, as I noted, is strongly targeted toward the Spanish.
The service was standard. The flight attendants did their job, but nothing special. Nevertheless the head cabin attendant was very nice. There are still some things about the service that need to be improved, but it seems to me that they have made significant progress in the last two years.
The flights left on time and the planes were clean. The only negative point was that they didn't clean the bathrooms during the flight. Nevertheless, if people were trained a little better, it would help maintain a certain level of cleanliness.
The meal was mediocre, and I think that the catering is the same as on KLM. Leaving from Lima, a friend of mine who took a KLM flight got the same mediocre meal.
The space between the seats in economy class was enough even though I'm tall and a little heavy. The captain provided good in-flight information and it felt like everything was in the hands of an expert.
The landing took place under good weather conditions in Madrid. As for the Madrid-Geneva flight, it was on an Airbus A321. The crew was efficient and very obliging toward my three-year-old daughter. We left a little late but we made up for it on the flight. There were no problems with our luggage.
