My departure flight was Paris -> Tel Aviv flight via Istanbul and it went really well.
The return flight was more complicated.
On the ground:
There was no wait at check-in and boarding was fast.
The layover in Istanbul was short, but there was no security presence (Yes, you read that right!), we have to wait about a dozen minutes for someone from security to put our luggage through the scanner and screen us.
The plane, a Sky Interior 737-800, was recent and comfortable. There was a good amount of space between the seats, so there was a lot of legroom (I'm 5'8"). Meals cost extra. Free luggage. There was a screen showing the progress of the flight. The seats didn't recline.
Then it got complicated:
In the middle of the flight, they told us that we would be landing at Charles de Gaulle instead of Orly, which was the original destination.
We landed at CDG, and then they told us, "Please be patient, we are talking to the airport so you can disembark." One hour later, with everyone wanting to leave, they told us "We're taking off for Orly," then 30 minutes later, with the plane still on the ground, they told us, "You can get out, there is a shuttle to Orly for passengers who want to go there. " We waited, and two hours later the shuttle arrived.
We finally arrived in Orly, after a 3h30min delay.
So, I recommend Pegasus for departure flights but not for return ones.
