I have travelled with GUlF AIR at 2016 with my family to attend the wedding party of my relative, I suppose to reach my destination the next day, but reach there in five days, and I get my luggage’s after ten days, l keeping complaints but no one listen,customers sevice making excuses , they are all above the law, there management all Muslim by name ,But they are not ,very origunt very cruel ,they are the day robber, I don’t recommend this service for no one, once somethings get wrong , no bodies will listen .

an excellent experience

Hi , I have booked a ticket for my wife and my 3 weeks old son through Gulf air (27/02/2018), after booking I have called customer services two times, it was nice and helpful experience to talk to customer services, and agent was polite talked to me in a nice way. my wife said the staff was really helpful and made her trip really easy as she was travelling alone with 3 weeks old son, the crew was outstanding.

while dropping my wife and son in the air port, the supervisor lady (with glasses) for checking in heathrow terminal 4 warmly welcome us and she has given us priority check-in due to 3 weeks baby with us, she has done all possible arrangements for us to made the trip for my wife easy.

Apart from this, my wife had a good support in Bahrain airport as well (the staff at Bahrain airport was good and supportive too).

so 10/10 from my side.

Rubbish Air Line.

I have recently travelled from Kuwait, ground staff full of attitude and uncooperative in Kuwait, in flight from Manama to Faisalabad, one of the air hostess (cabin Crew Head) used abusive language upon requesting for a beer... my luggage received two days after arrival... Very bad airline, should be last choice if you have to really travel.

Terrible customer service! Flight cancelled with no compensation!

Aweful experience with GulfAir! I would never ever choose this airline again! They cancel my flight 5 months after I booked it without proposing any alternatives.

I had to chase them for weeks to finally receive a call, giving alternative flights 3 days after the initial date. As I had already made arrangements (hotels, internal flights in Thailand) I had to cancel my flight and was only refunded weeks after the cancellation. I then had to rebook my flights - £170 more expensive than the initial booking (as you can expect when booking 6 months later) - and they refused to reimburse the price difference!

Avoid this airline! Really disatisfying experience! Worst customer service ever!

rubbish airline!! horrible luggage management

I have been on many different middle eastern airlines, including emirates so I thought of trying gulf air last year.

I do not recommend !

Their entertainment is average however the airline's luggage management is the worst i've ever seen !

Very poor quality of service. Their mishandled baggage tracing service is absolutely horrible, I came back from holiday in August 2015, which is the same time they lost my luggage and I still have not been contacted about my missing luggage !

I have sent several emails and letters to Gulf Air's offices, not to mention multiple phone calls too however not once have I been contacted ! It has been 8 months ! Their customer care is appalling.

Very reluctant to solve any issues that occur whilst travelling with them !

Don't be trapped by their low prices ! Completely not worth it, i assure you !

Hell Air


I’m going to summarize it in the simplest possible way to save you from the details. I will only take the local times.
Expected itinerary:
- BKK (departure at 8:50 p.m.)
- BAH (11:50 p.m. - 00:30 a.m.), a 40-minute stopover
- CDG (arrival at 6:25 a.m.)
Ok, when I got my ticket they told me boarding was expected for 7:50 p.m. At 9 p.m., there was still no information. Everyone was waiting like an idiot. We took off at 9:40 p.m. Still no information, not even an explanation for the delay. The flight attendants spoke English with an incomprehensible accent. We arrived in BAH at 1:30 a.m. NO ONE was there to inform me that my flight took off without me. I had to go after the information to be able to find the right counter. They told me the next flight would be in 24 hours. I wanted a faster way, so they offered me another flight operated by a different airline, with an extra stopover. And so, I have now been waiting for 30 minutes while they look for my luggage. I will then have to fly to Doha, in Qatar, within four hours and wait there for two hours before heading back to Paris. At the moment, I am still waiting for my bags in front of the counter. I’m standing, as there are no seats. I’m never flying Gulf Air again.

A good airline

I've travelled to Dubai via Bahrain with this airline three times. The three flights were all fine in the main. I made a mistake with the forename when booking the third flight. The change was accepted for a payment of $50. It's worth noting that you can't contact the airline by telephone because you get constantly put on hold, so email only (in English). No complaints with respect to safety. In terms of comfort, it's decent, even though my TV screen didn't work on the return leg for the last flight. The price (less than €500 each time) makes it a worthwhile option.
