Although very long, a pleasant flight

Review of Emmada about the flight Etihad Airways between Paris Charles De Gaulle and Bangkok on 30/10/2013 in Economy

Note: This review is about an experience that happened more than 3 years ago.

There were two legs to our journey:

First Paris Charles de Gaulle to Abu Dhabi then Abu Dhabi to Bangkok

Obviously that's very long, over 12 hours, but everything is done to make the voyage as pleasant as possible. It's easy to recline the seats and take a rest. When it comes to legroom, best not to be two metres tall, but it's adequate.

The screen fitted to the back of the seat in front offers plenty to keep you entertained: (films, music, games... and you can track the flight on a map).

We were immediately provided with a fleece blanket and a toiletry kit (a little bag containing a mini tube of toothpaste and toothbrush, eye mask, earplugs, and flight compression socks).

Meals were adequate and numerous.
Take-off and landing problem free.

I found it a bit chilly, but the fleece blanket was there to solve that.

No problems at all with boarding and the cabin crew were very nice.
The weight limit for checked luggage is generally sufficient.

Finally, the plane both departed and arrived well on schedule.
