After landing at 6:26 pm local time for 30 minutes of refueling and boarding, we continued our trip to Addis. The cabin was 80% full after that, while on the first leg of the trip it was 30% full.
At that time of day, the Nairobi Airport is pretty busy so we had to wait almost 20 minutes between taxiing and takeoff.
They served fish with rice on this 2h20min-flight. The meal was served only 16 minutes after takeoff (isn't that a little soon?).
At 8:35 pm the plane began its descent to Addis. The weather was cloudy and the ground temperature was 62° F. It was really cold in the cabin, which was hard to endure. We landed at 8:54 pm. It took 1 hour and 10 minutes of waiting just to get through immigration (Addis is really a pain in that department) and more than 30 minutes for the shuttle to the hotel. That's how ET operates, which doesn't surprise me at all considering that I'm a repeat customer of the airline.
In a few hours, I'll be taking flight ET831 to Brazzaville via Kinshasa (which I've already reviewed here). I'm hoping it will be on a 787.
