We flew Aer Lingus from SFO - DUB in their newly updated business class on the A330.
Lounge experience at SFO is the drab United lounge.
Boarding was delayed about 30 minutes. Once onboard we were offered champagne, orange juice or water by the lovely crew.
The seats are nothing spectacular, although comfy with plenty of legroom.
The IFE screen was huge, but with a very poor selection of movies and tv shows.
Although the crew were very friendly, the dinner service was unimpressive. The food quality was just okay and the ending cheese plate was two pieces of cheese with packaged crackers. Breakfast came just prior to landing - again very unexciting.
The amenity kit has your typical selection, however my kit was frayed on the top. Would I fly Aer Lingus business class again? Maybe.
The fares are lower than the competitors and the lie flat seats were restful. Also, the crew were great. But the overall experience felt more akin to Premium Economy with a lie flat seat. Tickets for two of us were around $8,000 total.
