Antiquated plane, reduced levels of comfort

Review of alexlemoine112 about the flight OpenSkies between Paris Orly and New York Jfk on 27/07/2014 in Business

Note: This review is about an experience that happened more than 3 years ago.

This was a business class flight with OpenSkies taken following a promotional offer.
Advantages: departure from Orly, which is nicer than Charles de Gaulle, and the "British Airways" brand (BA is the parent company), which is very reassuring from a safety point of view.

The problem was the plane's age: it was an ancient and very noisy 757, with business class seats that were much more cramped than the ones made these days. There was, however, a very good amount of legroom. The onboard service was decent, though not exceptional. Therefore, this business class service really isn't worth choosing. You could perhaps opt for OpenSkies for the convenience of flying directly from Orly and because of BA's standing and reputation, but if you do, you need to be aware of the fairly basic nature of this service, and don't pay any extra for additional comfort on these planes.
