There I was at the Hong Kong airport, ready to leave for Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Check-in was efficient and going through customs was quick.
Since I hadn't eaten anything at noon, I went to eat at one of the restaurants at the Hong Kong Airport and then headed to the plane.
It was a nice aircraft but unfortunately the cabin was the old one. So, boarding was rapid and efficient and we went straight to the back.
The seat was very comfortable and it was a very big plane for such a short flight. In Europe we don't have Paris-London flights on an A330. The screen didn't work for the entire flight and remained blocked, but just after takeoff the in-flight meals arrived. After the time it took to eat the meal and clear it away, we were already in the landing phase.
The seat layout was 2/4/2 and it was very comfortable.
The flight crew was nice and the flight was on time. The in-flight information was given often.
The food was good and the flight attendants came by often with beverages.
The temperature on the plane was normal and not too hot at all.
The landing was smooth but the braking was a little rough, which made us thankful for our seatbelts.
Disembarkation went quickly and the airport was completely empty with a lot of parking spaces free. I only saw one plane (737) and only the passengers from our flight were going through customs.
In short, this was a good and pleasant and flight that was very enjoyable.
