Bravo pour les photos.
A domestic flight which still lasted 3 hours and yes, China is huge ;)
Late-afternoon flight from Beijing from Hong Kong on a B777 aircraft. Who has never dreamed of flying from Marseille to Paris in a 777 ? ;)
Back to the flight.
Hong Kong airport is one of the most beautiful in the world from an architectural standpoints and is a joy to a plane spotter, with its huge windows.
You see a lot of plane spotting elsewhere in photos, 380, 777, 340, etc.
The flight was to take place in an Air China B777 in 60A, so eco-friendly.
There is an express train direct to the airport, it is very fast, no queues and no waiting.
Moving through check-in and customs and security was all done in record time, there were not many people at that hour.
After about ten minutes of plane spotting, I headed to the boarding gate and towards the back of the plane.
There were no worries when boarding, the agents on the steps were all smiles and the reception on the plane was welcoming. We were directed to the other side 40M away.
And then towards the 07R, large as life opposite the platform, it took about 10/15min taxi time, but when you are in love, you do not count the minutes;)
It's miserable weather today in Hong Kong, so we head off into the clouds (see video)
And there there is a looonnnng 3-hour flight, to look out of the window at the clouds, sun and snow below.
With regards to the seat, I do not know if the plane only undertakes flights of 3/5hours because I did not feel squashed or improperly seated (for the record I'm 1m86) it would certainly not be out of place on a long-haul flight.
Regarding meals, see photo, they were delicious, not heavy and I asked for more, using sign language. Yes, the hostess who looked after us did not speak a word of English ... the fruits, were also very delicious.
Then the flight was quiet until the destination and there was even a touch of beauty! A graceful landing and a taxi up to a staircase ... and outside it was veeeerrrryyy cold! We ran straight to the bus for the terminal.
We connected with the new terminal by a train after passing customs and admiring the little stars and headed out for a few days in Beijing.
Conclusion: A very nice and pleasant flight, despite the lack of English on the part of the hostess, we could always make ourselves understood ;)
And some bonus pictures of Beijing in the snow :)
