An airline bogging itself down in bureaucratic procedures
I purchased four tickets for Paris/Taipei in January on Eva's website, paid for the same day using a Visa card that was due to expire in May 2014.
I presented myself at check-in on the 4 July using my new, valid card. They refused to allow me to board because I should have presented my expired Visa card!
Eva's staff didn't try to find any solution or go to any effort, preferring to ensure their compatriots travelled on the flight rather than Europeans, via overbooking! And to top it all they asked me to pay a €200 penalty per ticket in to get them refunded.
Not an airline to recommend: no goodwill gestures, stupid procedures.
