Flew from Doncaster.
One female ground crew removing cases by the dozen. Most 1 to 2 cm more than specified and then charging additional baggage. Hence very few bags on plane. We were fine and got through.
Plane then delayed because staff couldn't cope when removing so many bags as paperwork and charges needed to be done.
Return journey stated on line check in 36 hours before. However no on line check in was available, neither did it flag this up on system it simply made me question if it was a technical error at my side or theirs. At Malaga airport no official desk. Had to queue with everyone who had full baggage allowance despite me having hand luggage only.
Check in desk opened late and they had to process every passenger due to online services being unavailable. Again this delayed the plane by another hour. Most passengers did not get chance to have a drink before boarding due to the chaos. It was very hot weather too.
The experience of travelling with Flybe was dreadful. Thank goodness we weren't any later as Doncaster airport closes at midnight can you believe and we would have then had to be diverted to Manchester or Leeds and bused back.
Yes Doncaster airport closes between midnight and 6 am so any delays in are transferd. What a business ehh. Ryan air might have had its gripes but compared to Flybe it's a million miles better
