Since Air France discontinued its Marseille-Rome FCO route, no less than 4 airline companies have been competing for its customers. Indeed AF's planes, mostly A319s, were full almost every day. I took Alitalia for this particular flight. I had the choice between Vueling, Easyjet and Ryanair (from CIA). By the way, I flew on Vueling for the return flight.
Departure was scheduled for noon and ended up being on time.
To my great surprise, the flight wasn't on an A319 flown by Alitalia but on an A320 operated by its subsidiary, AIR ONE.
The plane, despite not being very old, was dirty and the seats were not attached to the plane's floor that well. Incredible.
The crew was the same as Alitalia's.
The plane took off on time.
During the flight they offered us a free drink and some crackers. In that way it was similar to Air France's European flights.
The one-hour flight went well.
The plane was quite full, around 80%, despite the competition.
Overall, a very average flight.
