Boarding was on time and there was a drink to welcome us.
The crew was attentive. The in-flight entertainment screen was a good size (around 12 in. diagonally).
They had a good selection of international movies, some of which were pretty recent.
The seat could be converted to a flat, horizontal bed. The noise-canceling headphones worked. There was no complementary toilet kit (boo, too bad).
There was a full meal: They had an interesting appetizer but a tasteless, boring main dish. There was an interesting cheese selection and Häagen- Dazs ice cream in a cup. On the other hand, there was a wide choice of wines with personality (German white wines, excellent Alsatian wines, Châteauneuf red wines and Italian as well as Sauternes and Champagne wines).
You could even say that the wine selection made up for the meal.
There was a complete sweet and salty breakfast. On the other hand, Finnair must have a problem with it service: there were no appetizers to enjoy (but the finger foods would end up being very good) and the service came by twice between the appetizer and the main dish.
There was no yogurt (also known as yaourt in French). In the end though, the little annoyances weren't very serious.
The in-flight information, which was sufficient, and was in 3 languages: English, Finnish and Korean.
That's why I couldn't watch any of the movies :-) The temperature in the cabin was too high during the rest period. We arrived in time and our luggage was delivered quickly.
In conclusion, a boring meal and an excellent wine selection (you might wind up thinking that I'm a real alcoholic). There was attentive service that was efficiently organized.
