Is there a pilot for the plane?

Review of Bariboule about the flight Aerolineas Argentinas between Buenos Aires Newbery and Mendoza on 01/09/2013 in Economy

Note: This review is about an experience that happened more than 3 years ago.

Hmmm it didn't begin well! Right at the beginning there was a special, sensibly different price for non-residents: about the double!

Also, at least 3-4 e-mails to communicate a change of flight time and number… In short, hurray for organization!

All of this was some time before departure, but on the d-day…

I have rarely ever seen such a big mess like this. I was coming from Montevideo, somewhat stressed about finding out that they have reduced my connection time to nothing. Only it was the opposite. Officially, I had five hours. I took the time to say hello to my fiancé, who lives in Buenos Aires. All was fine…

I went back to the airport and to the waiting… a line before the counter, the plane was late, I have right to a “5-minute delay, sir,” but this same answer lasted for over an hour, which is a little too much!

And then something fantastic, surrealist happened! “Actually, sir, we have to confess, we do not know where the pilot of the airplane is!” I am Belgian, so I can bathe in surrealism, but this… Thank you, Areolineas Argentinas. I was able to sit down and enjoy this response for another hour and a half… more than a three-hour delay on a flight of less than two hours… No more comments!
