Again surprised by Air France’s customer service. Following that day’s tropical storm, they warned us 48 hours in advance that our flight would be delayed – the flight that was supposed to take off at 5:25 p.m. and land at 7:15 a.m. would take off at 10:40 p.m. and land at 11:15 a.m.. Arriving at the airport, the Air France crew were very present to give every information possible. So, at 11:55 p.m., we finally learned that the flight was late and that it was expected to take off at 1:15 p.m. from Orly for security reasons (the second flight of the trip, at 8:40 p.m. was postponed to 2:40 a.m. of the following day). The Point-a-Pitre airport is very pleasing, with many entertainment options in the boarding area. Boarding our B777-300ER F-GSQN was calm and relaxed. The flight went without a hassle and the cabin crew was very attentive due to the delayed departure. The windows remained closed until breakfast. Dinner was plentiful and breakfast was what you expect in a long-distance flight. The entertainment system was still great, with a large choice of movies, music, games, and information about AF. The reclinable seat with its adjustable headrest were very nice for an overnight flight. Landing was at 1:12 p.m. and baggage handling was perfect. I would certainly recommend AF and fly with them again.
