Flying on an Airbus A380 is an experience that leaves a lasting impression on those who've flown on the different Boeing 757, 767 or 777s ... or even the 747. Getting the 516 passengers aboard is done in a very organised fashion.
The seat and the amount of space make it very comfortable (I was on the upper deck in 89L); nothing like the seats you normally find in economy class. The window was very large and the cabin plushly fitted out (lighting very well thought out). The standard of the in-flight entertainment is exceptional (I was able to watch '12 Years a Slave' and the excellent 'A Separation').
The cabin crew were very nice and very professional. The meals, despite the small servings (and with the aperitif it's always those ridiculous biscuits), are very good. Disembarking is relatively quick, even with the wait for the baggage longer than with other types of plane (516 passengers...). In brief, a very good experience, one I recommend to everybody, on flights AF 006 and AF 007.
