I arrived at Orly's South Terminal three hours early thinking there would be traffic on the way. The Terminal was deserted at 6 am. The counter wasn't open, and I took advantage of the time to get breakfast.
When the counter opened at 6:45 am, about a dozen people were waiting. I had checked in and chosen my seat on the Internet. I put my suitcase on the conveyor belt (checked luggage was included in the ticket price). The crew was cheerful, which was nice, especially at at 7 in the morning. :)
I was expecting more stores at Orly but there was just a Duty-Free shop and two or three other boutiques. There was free WIFI, so I waited for my flight, which was on time.
Boarding began at 8:15 am as scheduled. I boarded the 737-800 using an articulated walkway.
The flight attendants were cheerful, and I was very satisfied with my choice since the two airlines assured the Easy Jet and Air Berlin link. The plane was clean, and the flight arrived in Berlin at 10:20 am as scheduled.
During the flight the passengers were served drinks and the flight attendants handed out Lindt chocolates as we exited. A bus picked us up and drove us to Terminal De Berlin Tegel.
