After being transferred to a gate right at the end of the airport, there we were: 250 people waiting for more than an hour, all caused by a delay!
Twenty seats for 250: I'll leave it to you to imagine what that was like!
We boarded a bus, then once arrived on the tarmac, next to the plane, we had to stand waiting for 25 minutes: the plane still wasn't ready.
We finally boarded the plane. It was clean, but no more than that. You can really tell the difference compared to Etihad! And what really strikes you is the cabin crew, who are frankly not friendly and don't smile at all; they just look at you!
The food was barely adequate and the level of service didn't change at all!
We took off one hour behind schedule. The flight was very turbulent and the cabin crew were still no friendlier, indeed worse even.
No complaints with respect to the seat and the films, which were up to standard, though that's all; which is in complete contrast to Etihad!
I won't repeat the experience unless it's Etihad serving HKT.
