Despite a check-in in Heraklion that was admittedly clear but somewhat unpleasant, we had the excellent surprise of boarding early, without priority but not too disorganized despite that.
The welcome on board Aegean's Airbus was once again warm, its cabin was once again very recent and seemed well-maintained: this is the way it usually is, so nothing to add. The flight attendants, who were cheerful and helpful, spoke Greek and English and one of them spoke a few words of French. The pilot, through the announcements that he made (many), turned out to be trilingual.
The communal screens showed documentaries about Greece made up of beautiful images, which helped pass a little time, helped by a meal that was still a little frugal but hot and tasty. There were frequent beverage services (2 hot, 2 cold), and the flight attendants came by regularly. Blue, Aegean's in-flight magazine also had beautiful images of Greece.
Takeoffs and landings were perfect. The pilot often addressed us to announce the towns we were flying over, helped by the maps that were broadcast on the screen during the second half of the flight
The punctuality was unparalleled: the departures were on time and the arrivals were more than 20 minutes early. We only had to wait for our luggage for 10 minutes.
For less than 100 euros per person Flex price, this flight was extremely satisfying. This was my 4th experience with Aegean, and I think that shows that the product is high in quality.
