Leaving Heraklion is always sad, and doing it in a plane that makes you feel like livestock doesn't make it any easier.
Check-in was done online. The baggage check-in at Heraklion was perfectly organized and there was no wait (for anyone), which was the first good sign.
Boarding was on time (practically to the minute), and takeoff. The plane was clearly almost new. The pitch was, again, sufficient for a 5'9" person on a 3h20min flight (3h45min was the time written on the ticket, but the reality was different: it was between 3h00 -done to make up for the delay at departure- and 3h45min). Takeoff without problems.
Likewise, there was no in-flight information except for Aegean's in-flight magazine Blue, which was pleasant to flip through.
The meal, served with an apron and a smile, was substantial and tasty. Bravo!
A nice and thoughtful flight crew, a real pleasure.
The only drawback on this flight was, surprisingly, a cabin temperature that was too high.
To sum it up, this was an extremely nice flight: punctual and offering good quality for a low price. What's more, choosing a Flex ticket allows you to make changes with no other fees except the re-emission of the ticket (€ 20 per ticket), and despite this late change, it went well. Note, however, that the French on Aegean's telephone system is a little shaky, so choose English as much as possible.
Thank you for this return flight.
