The check in at Glasgow opened half an hour late and when it did open it was manned by two trainees who were unescorted, though it stated on their badges that they were.
After fifty minutes the passenger line had hardly moved and people began to complain
a supervisor appeared and asked passengers to be patient as 'everyone has to learn'.
What kind of management puts two trainees on a check in desk unsupervised at the same
time and have them confronted by a full compliment of air passengers who have been
left standing for a considerable length of time.
Following the complaints of passengers
two further experienced staff members plus the supervisor assisted with the check in process.
On board the plane, we were seated beside the wing. When the cabin crew began serving food and drink we only managed to get a drink of water half an hour before the flight landed in Palma airport.
Very unsatisfactory, return check in was even worse, yes Europe Airpost did manage to make it worse on the return!
Their only redeeming feature was that the plane was comfortable and the cabin crew were polite and helpful.
