My flight had been booked one month in advance, to go see my family. I don’t know how this airline ranks on the regional network (I've always flown with Air Caraibes for the intra-Caribbean flights), but I have to say that the domestic network in the French Guiana could be better. Actually, the ground crew was very unpleasant. For instance, when I was paying my excess baggage after check-in, the person with whom I was dealing kindly made me walk across the entire airport for 88 cents. I didn't have change, so I paid the sum of 30 euros for an excess amounting to 20.88 euros. The agent didn't have change and, apparently, she didn't want to keep the extra! Luckily, I was able to get the money by asking to a kind man, after checking with every store in the airport. Without this, I would not have had a boarding pass. Besides, this agent displayed an extreme arrogance, bordering on insolence. Anyway, the plane was in average shape and moderately clean. Punctuality was disastrous (this time I was lucky, but that has not always been the case with my previous trips with this airline on the same route). Luckily that Saul is a wonderful place that is worth a visit!
