My flight was due to leave on 27/8. A few days beforehand I discovered, checking my emails, that the flight had been put back to the 29/8.
I immediately phoned the number shown on my ticket (a premium rate number) and explained to them that my husband and I were back at work on the 28/8 so this was a big problem for us.
The hostess responded by saying that it was for operational reasons and that if I wished I could cancel my tickets and send a complaint by email! So I sent a complaint by email the very same day. At the time of writing I still haven't received any response, despite calling them back three times.
I've tried calling them again, only to have them put the phone down on me! My friend experienced the same thing with an outbound flight that left two days late.
The thing I find hardest to accept is the contempt and indifference I've been the victim of with this airline. It was my first flight with them, and the last.
I have been using Jetair for my travels for 20 years. That's an airline that's always up to standard, willing to recompense its clients when justified, and flexible. I felt tempted to give this other airline a go but I'm now kicking myself for doing so! Thanks for listening and bye!
